Hawk prefers being the only pet, although he can get along with some dogs after careful introductions. He’s content to entertain himself while his person is at work and is currently on trial medication to ease his adjustment to new experiences. Hawk makes a loyal, cuddly companion.

Our dogs are living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form, you will receive a response within 14 days. Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing.
Our dogs are generally desexed at 6 months of age. If the dog you are applying for is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided for use at one of our approved vet providers only. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC. Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
