Nirvana is a gentle, independent girl who thrives in a calm, patient environment. She loves belly rubs and her own space, making her ideal for a retired couple or mature individual. While dog-friendly, she must be fed separately due to past food guarding. Nirvana hasn’t met cats but ignores chickens, and her food sensitivities mean no young children. She’s learning to walk on a lead and needs time to adjust to new surroundings where her loving nature will shine.
Our dogs are living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form, you will receive a response within 14 days. Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing.
Our dogs are generally desexed at 6 months of age. If the dog you are applying for is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided for use at one of our approved vet providers only. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC. Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
